Educational purpose only
Everything published on LearnForexHub — lessons, indicator and Expert Advisor articles, diagrams, downloadable .mq4/.mq5 files, and the market tools on this site — is general educational information. It is not investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any currency, instrument, or product.
We do not know your financial position, your income, your obligations, your tax situation, your experience, or your tolerance for loss, so nothing here can be suitable advice for you specifically. Before acting on any information from this site, consider whether it fits your circumstances, and seek advice from a financial professional licensed in your own jurisdiction.
The specific risks of leveraged forex trading
- Leverage magnifies losses as much as gains. A small adverse move against a leveraged position can consume a large share of your capital. At high leverage, a fraction of a percent move can close your position entirely.
- You can lose more than you deposit. Depending on your broker, your jurisdiction, and whether negative balance protection applies, a gap or fast market can leave your account below zero.
- Gaps and slippage break stop losses. A stop loss is an instruction, not a guarantee. In a gap — over a weekend, around a central bank decision, or during a liquidity shock — your order can fill far worse than the level you set.
- Spreads and swaps widen unpredictably. Trading costs are not fixed. Spreads widen around news and at session rollover, and overnight swap charges accumulate against a position held for a long time.
- Past performance means nothing about the future. A backtest, a historical example, or a strategy that worked in one market regime is not evidence that it will work in the next one.
- Counterparty risk is real. Your funds sit with a broker. A broker's insolvency, mispricing, or restriction on withdrawals is a risk separate from the market itself.
Indicators and Expert Advisors
The indicators and Expert Advisors on this site are published as source code for study, inspection, and testing. They carry specific limitations you should understand before running one:
- They are provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind — no warranty of correctness, of fitness for any purpose, or of profitability.
- An Expert Advisor places real orders on a live account. A coding error, an unexpected market condition, a broker-specific symbol name or filling mode, a disconnection, or a change in spread can cause behaviour you did not intend, including losing trades.
- Test on a demo account first, over a meaningful period and across the conditions you expect to trade in. Read the source before you run it; that is the reason it is published as source.
- No strategy described on this site has a positive expectancy guaranteed in advance, and none should be run unattended on capital you are not prepared to lose.
Third-party data and tools
The economic calendar, price charts, and technical analysis summaries on this site are supplied by third parties (including TradingView). We do not produce, verify, or control that data. It may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and it should not be relied on as the sole basis for a trading decision. Any automated Buy/Sell/Neutral summary is a mechanical calculation over indicator values, not an opinion or a recommendation from us.
External links and broker referrals
This site links to third-party websites, including brokers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, pricing, execution, or treatment of your funds. Links on our recommended brokers page are referral (IB) links from which we may earn a commission, disclosed on that page. A referral relationship is not a guarantee of a broker's quality or solvency — do your own checks on regulation and withdrawal terms before depositing.
Accuracy and availability
We work to keep this site accurate and up to date, and we correct errors when they are reported (see our editorial policy). Even so, content may become outdated as platforms, brokers, and markets change, and we make no representation that any page is complete or error-free. The site is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LearnForexHub and its author accept no liability for any loss or damage — including trading losses, loss of profit, or loss of data — arising from your use of this site, its content, or any file downloaded from it. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and for any code you choose to run.
Jurisdiction
Forex and CFD trading is restricted or prohibited for retail clients in some countries, and leverage limits differ widely between regulators. It is your responsibility to know and follow the rules that apply where you live. Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation to anyone in a jurisdiction where such an offer would be unlawful.
